Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of bookkeeping, accountancy, payroll, and related services (“Services”) by Straight Ledger Bookkeeping & Accountancy Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“Client”, “you”).

By engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

We provide bookkeeping, payroll, company formation, statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, self-assessment tax returns, confirmation statements, VAT returns, and related accountancy services within England and Wales.

We do not provide audit services.

Fees and Payment

• Fees are agreed based on your specific business requirements.
• Where applicable, fees are charged monthly in advance, typically by direct debit, based on an annual fee divided into 12 monthly payments.
• Additional services beyond the agreed scope will incur extra charges.
• VAT is not charged on our fees.
• Failure to pay fees on time may result in suspension of Services and additional fees being applied.

Client Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation as required.
• You are responsible for maintaining appropriate business records and complying with all legal and regulatory obligations.
• You must notify us promptly of any changes in your business circumstances.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all confidential information obtained during the provision of Services private and to use it only for the purpose of delivering the Services.

Liability

We will perform Services with reasonable skill and care. However, we accept no liability for any losses or damages arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you or third parties.

Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with one month’s written notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services immediately if fees are unpaid or if there is a breach of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
